Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP). Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP) will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP).

No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.

Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP) will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.

Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP) will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP).

Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP).

Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP) will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received by the charity as a gift. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value shall be ascribed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP).

Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP) will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP) will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.

Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP) will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP).

RDP focuses in the following economic empowerment main activities:

Job Creation and Skills Development: RDP promote job creation and skills development programs to enhance employment opportunities for individuals in vulnerable communities. This involves vocational training, entrepreneurship support, and job placement services.
Income Generation and Financial Inclusion: RDP implement initiatives to empower individuals and households to generate sustainable income and improve their financial well-being. This includes providing access to microfinance, financial literacy training, and support for income-generating activities.
Women’s Economic Empowerment: RDP focus on promoting gender equality and empowering women economically. This involves initiatives such as entrepreneurship training, access to capital, and addressing gender-based barriers in the workforce.
Sustainable Livelihoods and Agriculture: RDP support sustainable livelihoods and agricultural development in communities. This includes promoting environmentally friendly farming practices, providing access to agricultural resources and technology, and facilitating market linkages for farmers.
Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Development: RDP foster the growth and development of small and medium-sized enterprises. This involves providing business development services, access to finance, and mentorship programs to help SMEs thrive.
Access to Financial Services: RDP increase access to affordable and inclusive financial services, such as savings accounts, credit facilities, and insurance, for individuals and small businesses in vulnerable communities.
Market Opportunities and Trade: RDP facilitate access to markets and trade opportunities for local producers and entrepreneurs. This involves market linkages, trade capacity building, and support for value chain development.
Policy and Advocacy: RDP advocate for policies and regulations that promote inclusive economic growth and empower marginalized communities. This includes conducting research, draft policy papers and try to influence decision-making processes.
