RDP Continue Their Humanitarian Efforts in Abs District, Hajjah Governorate
Amid a severe deterioration of the humanitarian situation and worsening food insecurity in Abs district, Relief and Development Peer (RDP) team today launched an operation to distribute unconditional cash assistance to 630 beneficiary households from among internally displaced persons (IDPs) and the most vulnerable host communities.
This initiative is part of the “Emergency Response in Food Security and Livelihoods” project, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) under the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA Yemen).
As the district grapples with harsh humanitarian conditions and a rise in malnutrition cases, this aid provides a critical lifeline and a beacon of hope. It stands as a testament to the fact that humanitarian work is a moral and human commitment—one that goes beyond mere service to become a life-saving mission.
Our support for vulnerable families is an expression of our deep belief in human dignity and our strive to empower them to meet their basic needs in the face of mounting challenges.
