Food Assistance Reaches Vulnerable Families in Al-Bayda Governorate

As part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to address food insecurity in Al-Bayda Governorate, RDP in partnership with the World Food Programme, implemented an emergency food assistance distribution on 9 April 2026.

The intervention targeted 9312 vulnerable households across As Sawadiya, Asharyah, Radman, Numan, and Nati’ districts. Distribution has been completed in four districts, while operations continue in Nati’.

Each household received essential food items, including cooking oil and legumes, contributing to meeting basic food needs. The distribution was carried out through a transparent and accountable mechanism, ensuring fair access and adherence to targeting criteria.

This intervention reflects the commitment of the organization and its partners to supporting affected communities, with appreciation extended to field teams for their dedicated efforts.
