Supplementary Feeding program
Objective:
Improved equitable access to life savings services for acutely malnourished boys and girls under 5 and pregnant and lactating women (PLW), in addition to distribute supplementary rations to children 6-23 months old pregnant and lactating women to prevent chronic and acute malnutrition as well as protect and promote of Infant and Young Child Feeding practices.

Major project activities:
- Conduct MUAC screening and Z score to identify children and PLWs with acute malnutrition.
- RDP provide TSFP services in 22 HFs in two districts, in Taiz governorate.
- RDP provide TSFP services to children under 5 and PLW through 44 health workers.
- 11,152 Children under 5 and PLW admitted to TSFP program in 22 health facilities in Taiz governorate.
- RDP distributed 2.3 MTs of Plumpy Sup and 22.56 of Plumpy Doz to Children U5.
- RDP distributed 111.14 MTs of WSB+ to PLW.
- Conduct basic/refresher training to train health workers in CMAM.
- RDP team conduct on job training for health workers
- Number of people who received nutrition awareness sessions at HFs 15,057.
- Number of established FDPs 848 for BSFP program.
- Number of children U5 admitted to BSFP program 186,760 12. Number of PLW admitted to BSFP 171,897.
- RDP distributed 573.06 MTs of Plumpy Doz to Children U5.
- RDP distributed 1019.8620 MTs of WSB+ to PLW.
