Supplementary Feeding Program

Objective:

People at risk of malnutrition, especially pregnant and lactating women and girls and children under 5 years old, have reduced levels of malnutrition by the end of June 2025. RDP Deliver quality lifesaving interventions for acute malnourished children girls and boys and Pregnant and Lactating women.

Major project activities:

1. Conduct MUAC screening and Z score to identify children and PLWs with acute malnutrition.

2. RDP provide TSFP services in 97 HFs shattered in 10 districts, in three governorates Al Bayda, Marib, and Dhamar.

3. RDP provide TSFP services to children under 5 and PLW through 194 health workers.

4. Provide TSFP supplies to Children under 5 and PLW through health workers in 97 health facilities in three governorates.

5. Conduct basic/refresher training to train health workers in CMAM. 

6. RDP team conduct on job training for health workers 7. Conduct awareness sessions on key nutrition messages.
