Emergency General Food Assistance Program in Al-Baidha Gov.

Objective:

Increase availability and access to secure, safe and lifesaving food, in addition to improve food security and reduce severe hunger of highly vulnerable families in Al Bayda governorate, by providing General Food Assistance (GFA) to crisis-affected women, men, girls, and boys.

Jan 2023 to Dec 2023

 

Major project activities:

  1. RDP distributed six rounds between Jan – Dec 2023, in Al Bayda governorate.
  2. Distribution of in-kind emergency food assistance to 12,211 households across As Sawadiyah, Al Malagim, Wald Rabi, Ash Sharyah and At Taffah districts in Al-Bayda.
  3. Between Jan–Dec 2023, RDP distributed 3662.645 MTs of in-kind food assistance.
