RDP Continue Their Humanitarian Efforts in Abs District, Hajjah Governorate.
Amid the severe deterioration of the humanitarian situation, worsening food insecurity, and the decline in humanitarian aid in Abs District, the Relief and Development Peers team today launched the distribution of unconditional cash assistance to 630 beneficiaries from internally displaced families and the most vulnerable host communities. This effort is part of the “Emergency Response for Food Security and Livelihoods” project, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) under the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs United Nations (UN OCHA ).
The third round of distributions for 2025 was visited by Dr. Allan Fadhail and a team of representatives from the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation (SCMCHA) and the local authorities in Hajjah Governorate. They observed the progress of the operation and praised the high level of organization, transparency, and commitment to ensuring aid reaches those who deserve it.
In light of the harsh humanitarian conditions in the district, with the suffering of residents worsening and malnutrition cases on the rise, this assistance comes as a glimmer of hope—a testament that humanitarian work is not just a service but a moral and humanitarian commitment, a life mission.
Our support for vulnerable families reflects our deep belief in human dignity and our efforts to empower them in meeting their basic needs amid escalating challenges.
Together, we restore hope and make a difference🤝.
