Since its inception, RDP has served a total number of 7,910 individuals (men, women, boys, girls).
PROTECTION
Protection of civilians remains a major priority in Yemen. More than 17,700 estimated civilian casualties72 have been verified since September 2015, and thousands more people have been threatened by indiscriminate attacks and violations of international humanitarian law (IHL).
An estimated 14.4 million people need protection assistance, including 8.2 million in acute need. Conflict has left more than 3.3 million displaced73, including some 685,000 newly displaced since the military escalation along the western coast in June 2018.
Catastrophic hunger, disease outbreaks and lack of services due to destruction of vital civilian infrastructure has exacerbated the situation of more than one million people with specific needs.
PROGRAM’s GOALS
Monitor key child protection issues (child abuse, child labor , early marriage ) in order to identify Children in need of assistance, and provide protection assistance and services to vulnerable, conflict-affected children.
Develop community-based responses in order to prevent, mitigate or address protection needs and risks, including protection awareness about mine/UXO.
Response to the needs, rights and dignity of survivors and those at risk of GBV . Protection against GBV is integrated with all humanitarian response and it is central to all humanitarian action.
SERVICES PROVIDED
-Support children with protection assistance.
-Provide mine risk education.
-Identify GBV survivors or PwSN and refer them to service providers.
-Conduct PSS sessions by psychosocial support specialists.

-Most vulnerable people who are psychologically affected by war.
-GBV survivors.
-People with Special Needs (PwSN).
-Abused children.
