About Health Program

Since its inception, RDP has served a total number of 342,383 individuals ( men, women, boys, girls).

HEALTH

          Approximately 19.7 million people need health assistance in Yemen.

PROGRAM’s GOALS

Provide safe, timely and free access of vulnerable populations including IDPs to Minimum Health Service Package through support to health system and community resilience.

Participate in response to communicable diseases outbreaks and epidemics, including immunization for vaccine preventable diseases.

Provide access to newborn & childhood health services for vulnerable populations, including IDPs and the poorest and deprived segments in the society.

Provide access to reproductive & maternal health services for vulnerable populations, including IDPs and the poorest and deprived segments in the society.

SERVICES PROVIDED

    • Incentivize healthcare workers in hospitals or health facilities.
    • Support health facilities with drugs and medical supplies.
    • Train community health volunteers (CHVs) on MUAC Screening and community outreach.
    • Train health professionals on IMCI, Vaccination,  Communicable Diseases Prevention, and Emergency Obstetric Care.
    • Provide children with healthcare services including deworming.
    • Conduct vaccination campaigns for children.
    • Provide women with reproductive health and family planning services.
    • Provide mothers with post-natal care within the first 48 hours of delivery.
    • Provide mothers with pre-natal care.
    • Provide women with skilled birth attendance.
