Integrated emergency aid project to promote food security, livelihoods and education for children and their families in IDPs sites in Bajil district of Al Hudaydah
Objective:
Holistic improvement of the well-being of conflict-affected children in the Bajil district of Al Hudaydah governorate by providing them with access to food and education and supporting their families in building sustainable livelihoods. 300 HHs of IDPs families will be provided with unconditional food assistance through vouchers for six consecutive months/rounds, while 35 IDPs headed by women, marginalized groups, and people with disabilities gain improved access to income and life skills. 20 HHs receive livestock packages, while 15 HHs get in-kind start-up grants with vocational and on the job training to enhance technical and life skills. Also, increasing safe access and sustainable learning opportunities for 250 Student.

Major project activities:
1. Community enagagment meeting with stakeholders and beneficiries.
2. Registration and verification of 300 HHs of IDPs families for food vouchers distribution.
3. Registration and verification of 35 HHs of IDPs families for livelihoods activities.
4. Contract with the service providers.
5. Establish complaint and feedback mechinasm CFM
6. Distribution of unconditonal food baskets to 300 most vulnerable of the IDPs HHs, for six consecutive rounds.
7. Conduct two different vocational training for 15 of the most vulnerable of IDPs families to offer safe spaces for women and girls to develop critical and life skills which will increase the access to and control over economic resources.
8. Distribute livestock to 20 HHs of IDPs families and in-Kind Grants valuing EUR 350 for each 20 HHs.
9.Technical assessment for the targeted school.
10. Conduct tendering process.
11. Contract with the contractor for school rehabilitation, and furniture supply.
12. Rehabilitation and construction of educational classrooms, including gender-sensitive and disability-sensitive WASH facilities.
13. Provide 250 of students (100 boys, 150 girls) and 30 teachers with learning and teaching materials.
14. Provide fortified snacks (i.e., date bars and/or fortified biscuits) to students and teachers. Students and teachers will be provided with fortified snacks for six months.
15. Supply school furniture for the targeted schools.
16. Conduct PCM after rehabilitation of school.
