Food Assistance Reaches Vulnerable Families in Marib Governorate

As part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to address food insecurity in Marib Governorate, RDP in partnership with the World Food Programme, implemented an emergency food assistance distribution on 7 April 2026.

The intervention targeted 5928 vulnerable households across Sirwah, Rahbah, Jabal Murad, and Harib Al-Qaramish districts. Distribution has been completed in all four districts.

Each household received essential food items, including cooking oil and legumes, contributing to meeting basic food needs. The distribution was carried out through a transparent and accountable mechanism, ensuring fair access and adherence to targeting criteria.

This intervention reflects the commitment of RDP and its partners to supporting affected communities, with appreciation extended to field teams for their dedicated efforts.
