Integrated Health and Nutrition Project for the most vulnerable IDPs sites and host communities in Sirwah and Harib Al Qaramish districts of Marib governorate – Priority 1
Objective:
Increased access to high-quality core components of the Minimum Service Package (MSP) for the most vulnerable people including IDPs in targeted sites and affected communities in Sirwah and Harib Al Qaramish district of Marib governorate through the provision of the Minimum Service Package by supported four health facilities and outreach activities through health workers of the targeted health facilities. In addition to,
increased access to life-saving nutrition services for boys and girls under five and PLW in Sirwah and Hareeb Al Qaramish districts of Marib governorate through the provision of life-saving, preventive, and enhanced quality nutrition service package. RDP has served a total of 35,326 beneficiaries in Health and Nutrition

Major project activities:
- Community engagement meeting.
- Kick-off induction workshop for project team
- Two tenders for the provision of medicines and medical supplies as well as provision of medical equipment and furniture were announced and processed.
- Contract with service providers for the project.
- Conducted 4 PSM for all HFs to assess the quality of the services and the satisfaction of the beneficiaries.
- Rehabilitation and installation of solar systems for the 2 HFs.
- 18,417 BNFs reached with medical consultations.
- 4 HFs support with free medications and medical supplies.
- Essential furniture and medical equipment delivered to the 4 HFs.
- Provision of operational running cost materials for 4 HFs
- 566 children provided with Penta/DPT vaccinations.
- 1,469 women received reproductive health
- 150 Medical Mobile Team(MMT)/Out-reach (OR) visits conducted
- 2,758 BNFs benefited from awareness sessions in health messages.
- 74 HWs and non-HWs supported with hazard allowances.
- 88 children aged 6-59 with SAM cases admitted in OTP for treatment
- 76 children with SAM provided with WASH kit
- 168 PLW with MAM admitted in TSFP for treatment in host communities and IDP sites
- 224 children aged 6-59 with MAM admitted for treatment in host communities and IDP sites
