Emergency Food Response Project for the most vulnerable host community and IDPs in Al Bayda, and Marib governorates 

Objective:

Increase availability and access to secure, safe and lifesaving food, in addition to improve food security and reduce severe hunger of highly vulnerable families in Al Bayda, and Marib governorates, by providing Targeted Emergency Food Assistance (TEFA).

Major project activities:

1. RDP distributed two rounds between January–March 2025, the first round in Al Bayda and Marib governorates, and the second round in Marib governorate.

2. In the first round RDP distributed in-kind emergency food assistance to 15,280 households (106,680 individuals) in nine districts (five in Al-Bayda and four in Marib) in the first cycle.

3. In the first round RDP distributed 1,209.813 MTs of food assistance.

4. In the second round RDP distributed in-kind emergency food assistance to 5,928 households.
