Emergency Food Response (One-Off) RER Districts

Objective:

Increase availability and access to secure, safe and lifesaving food, in addition to improve food security and reduce severe hunger of highly vulnerable families in Al Bayda, and Marib governorates, by providing General Food Assistance (GFA) to crisis-affected women, men, girls, and boys.

Major project activities:

1. RDP distributed two rounds between August – December 2024, in Al Bayda.

2. Distribution of in-kind emergency food assistance to 6,670 households (46,690 individuals) across As Sawadiyah, Ash Sharyah, and Radman districts in Al-Bayda.

3. Between August–December 2024, RDP distributed 762.798 MTs of in-kind food assistance.
