Training Workshop for District Food Assistance Committees (DIFAC) in Wald Rabe’e District

RDP FSL field team conducted a training workshop to discuss the new registration process for beneficiaries and the roles of DIFAC members. The training aimed to have the 7 DIFAC members prepared for the coming activities of formation at the levels of SUFAC and EFAC in Wald Rabe’e District of Al-Bayda Governorate.

District food assistance committees (DIFACs) have been formed on March 24, 2019 in the three targeted districts (Wald Rabee, Al Malagim, As Sawaydia) and (7) members from each district have been selected by the local council to represent the community. As a matter of fact, the project members have to succeed in achieving all the objectives of any given tasks, so the DIFACs’ members need training and guidelines to implement the new targeting and registration process accurately. RDP has received the green light from WFP to train the DIFAC members of Wald Rabee district. Therefore, RDP team organized and conducted a training workshop to discuss the new registration process and the roles of DIFAC. The workshop was conducted on April 27, 2019 at RDP Office in Rada’a district of Al Bayda governorate.

The workshop mainly aimed to bring together all the DIFAC members of Wald Rabee district on the purpose of preparing them well for the coming activities of SUFAC and EFAC formations and new targeting and registration process.
